Bimetalic wear resistant pipe

MASTER Bi-metallic wear-resisting plate&Pipes with two composite layers, The layer with composition of more than 50% Cr7C3 carbide formed by surfacing on ordinary steel plate or heat-resistant steel plates&pipes. The outer side of the products are made of steel plate&pipes, while the liner with HCWI to form an effective combination of bimetal. 

So It has not only features of high wear and abrasion resistance of HCWI, Hardness is over HRC57,  but also has high impact mechanical strength, which effectively solve the contradiction between the wear resistance and weldability of a single material.

The ideal combinations of high hardness, superior wear resistance and toughness make Bi-Metal the preferred materials for extreme wear applications, especially when with large granular wear materials, such as in metallurgical water slag system, feed system, waste well transportation and filling, mine dry and wet materials, coal ash gas transportation, etc.


Technical Specifications

1) Chemicals are: C about 3.5% , Cr >26% ,  Mn ※,  Si ※, V*, Fe ※;

2) Base Material Standard: SS400 Mild Steel Stainless or others suitable.

3) Hardness:  HRC 57-63

4) Dimension Standards:   Thks: 8-20 mm

5) Customized Thickness & Size Available

6) Microstructure Mixture of high volume hexagonal shaped chromium carbide in tough austenitic and martensitic matrix.

7)Volume Fraction Primary Carbides: 30%
